Avid have announced the next Pro Tools Upgrade at NAMM show 2018. The new version, Pro Tools 2018, represents not only a software update, but an overhaul of the Pro Tools versioning scheme. In addition to the new naming scheme, this release adds new features that help music creators jumpstart their creativity, stay in their flow, and finish projects with speed and efficiency. It will be available to new customers, current subscribers, and users with an active upgrade plan.
Pro Tools 2018 includes major improvements and new features for Pro Tools | First, Pro Tools, and Pro Tools | HD.

Avid have released a software update for Pro Tools that fixes a number of bugs/issues that many Pro Tools users have been having. Keeping in line with their new numbering scheme, Pro Tools 2018.3 is a March 2018 release. Here is the list of the bug fixes in the Pro Tools 2018.3 release.

Emmy Award Winning Sound Designer Paula Fairfield is most famous for her work on the hit HBO show, “Game Of Thrones". She’s the sound designer that gives the dragons their voice, and every roar, flap or hiss coming from one of Daenerys’ three dragons is created in the studio she built in her desert home near Palm Springs.
The heart of Paula’s studio is the Avid Pro Tools S6 control surface and Colin Broad PD3 / A-Mon monitoring system that controls her HDX system. For Dolby Atmos monitoring, RSPE incorporated a JBL LSR system housed in the ASC AttackWall for Immersive Sound. The ASC AttackWall provides an optimum mixing environment that's portable and modular and translates every time.
