Universal Audio Announces UAD Software v8.6 with Fender '55 Tweed Deluxe, Chandler Curve Bender, Sonnox Oxford Limiter

Universal Audio has just announced it's UAD Software v8.6, which includes three brand-new plug-ins* and Windows 10 support.

These three new plug-ins add to an already expansive list of UAD plug-ins, widely regarded as the world’s leading analog hardware emulation plug-ins for Mac and PC. These award-winning plug-ins require UAD-2 DSP Accelerator hardware or the Apollo High-Resolution Audio Interfaces.

Fender ’55 Tweed Deluxe

The tweed Deluxe was one of Leo Fender’s most iconic amp designs. Its dynamic, pristine clean tones and juicy, blooming overdrive made it a favorite of Neil Young, Larry Carlton, Daniel Lanois and more.

Designed 100% by Universal Audio, the Fender ’55 Tweed Deluxe plug-in for UAD-2 hardware and Apollo interfaces is a stem-to-stern circuit emulation of this historic tone machine.

Chandler Limited Curve Bender Mastering EQ

Developed by Softube, and officially endorsed by Chandler Limited, the Curve Bender Mastering EQ plug-in is an exacting emulation of this boutique, vintage-flavored EQ — exclusively for Universal Audio.

Sonnox Oxford Limiter v2

A dramatic update to one of the world’s favorite professional limiter plug-ins, the Oxford Limiter v2 is an essential tool for engineers looking for an uncolored, precise limiter for their masters.

To take advantage of these plug-ins you'll need UAD/Apollo hardware. Click here to shop UAD now, or contact your RSPE Sales Specialist to learn more.

*Note that all UAD plug-ins include a fully functional 14-day demo period. During or after the demo period, UAD plug-ins can be purchased individually

Emmy Award Winning Sound Designer Paula Fairfield is most famous for her work on the hit HBO show, “Game Of Thrones".
